Family!
Sounds like tons of great things are happening in Utah!  People getting married friends and family (lots of them), the family getting together, and growing as well. . .no one had told me Greg Meacham was getting married. . I forgive ya though, I would have at least found out when I got home huh? ; )    I couldn't be more excited about having my dog come back to life!  It just makes me happy to know that he is trying to get out of the backyard again!  hahaha Dad you had me laughing when you mentioned his present for the cottrell's. . .did Jace let you know that it had happened? ; ) they must be super grown up by now!  Mom and Dad... your e-mails were superior today!  Loved hearing about what is going on in your callings and in the family.  Wish I could have been at the temple with you guys but there is still time for that!  I miss it so much here . . . imagine how much President Souza is going to miss it after having been a counselor in the temple presidency!  Have a wonderful week!
Two quotes I wanted to include :
        1.  A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes - Hugh Downs
        2.  "Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you; not because they are nice, but because you are!"
Those are good ones to memorize and remember time after time!
Oh one more!

Those who are only sort of committed may expect to only sort of receive the blessings of testimony, joy, and peace. The windows of heaven might only be sort of open to them. - President Uchtdorf

All -
Well it was a crazy week...again!  Leadership meeting, training for the Zone Leaders, more sick people, etc.  Aside from all of that fun stuff, we had a great turnout on Sunday!  I don't know how well I've done on updating you, but we are teaching a 20 year old named Aline who we met the first week of the transfer.  I might have even told you how; we stopped because her little niece was in the door singing haha.  Well, she didn't go to church last Sunday and so we gave her some space this week.  We talked to her Saturday and told us she was going on Sunday, which she did.  She went along with a few other people that we are teaching: Tino, Esterrfany, Josiane . . . We stopped by her house after church and she expressed her desire to be baptized although she 'doesn't feel ready yet' - a classic.  Tino also came up to as and told us he had received an answer. . . he had felt something during testimony meeting and the first hour that he had never felt before.  Yesterday I truly realized that WE don't convert anyone, but we show people the way and invite them to follow Christ and let HIM do the converting.  He truly did his part yesterday.  Many of our recent converts were there and one even bore testimony. . . I probably looked like a dweeb just sitting there grinning from ear to ear, but it really is so joyous to see something like that happen.  111 people in sacrament meeting, more than I've ever seen in this ward.  We are planning on 3 baptisms next week and I hope all goes smoothly; we might sing a special number as well!
We had a  sweet activity Thursday night as well. . . the whole ward was invited and I'm pretty sure they haven't had a well planned activity like that for quite a while.  While planning and setting up, I'll admit it, we were not expecting much.  We set up a BUNCH of chairs and the sound system (ended up not working), tables, and a pulpit... the trampoline showed up, we made a bunch of kits that were supposed to go out to all of the non-members at the activity.  Well. . . 7 o clock and no one had shown up yet...faith falling. . . 7:16. . . one person. . . But then it happened!  People started showing up!  We really had to DO our part with faith that it would all come together.  The activity was great. . . sack races, eggs on spoons, popcorn, dancing, screaming.. etc.  If you can believe it, when the activity was still in the making... there were people from the ward that simply said 'it isn't going to work' . . .as to say 'no one will come... you can't do it.'  Well we did!  Wonderful week, I wish I could tell you everything I learned and all that we did, but maybe one day you'll all be able to read about it in the book life ; ).
I am finding a lot of strength if having scriptures and quotes memorized that come to mind in the exact moment that I need a certain council. . to be more patient or to love more, or be more faithful.  Here are a few of them.
